Series: SK Kölsch
Characters: Jupp Schatz, Falk von Schermbeck
Summary: Jupp has kissed Falk. This remains not a secret for long.
Note: A sequal to the episode "Köln-Düsseldorfer.” The cook of a cruising ship on the Rhine was found with his head in his own bowl, dead of course. But Jupp and Falk are ordered to put their own investigations behind in order to not endanger a more important investigation against product replacement. This is led by Wellem, one from Düsseldorf and therefore naturally Jupp’s arch-enemy. Even Falk doesn't regard him as trustworthy. So of course the two investigate despite the order. Wellem meanwhile has told the captain, who had became mistrustful that they two are just "two fags from the fashion fair” which takes place in Düsseldorf. In order to make this more plausible he provokes a kiss between Jupp and Falk as Jupp congratulates his friend on his birthday. They kiss in the ship’s bar, in front of all guests.

"Hi Sweeties, when’s the great wedding?”
"Häh?" Jupp looked from Gino to Achim and back to Gino. Both grinned. His questioning look wandered to Falk, who had enter the office with him. But von Schermbeck only shrugged with his shoulders.
"Who will wear the wedding dress?" Gino smirked.
"Are you crazy or what? Was something in your coffee this morning?” Jupp wanted to know.
"A bird has told us what you two sweethearts have done on the ship besides catching a murderer," Achim said. "Hot kisses, yes? And a shared cabin.”
Jupp turned round to Falk, outraged. "I’ve said nothing," Falk hastily assured him.
“Who then?” Jupp wanted to know.
Achim and Gino grinned. "Witness protection."
But an answer wasn't necessary at all. Jupp knew exactly that only one person could have spread this. "Wellem, you fucking idiot!” he yelled. “You’ll pay for this!” With this he ran out the office.
Achim’s and Gino’s laughter followed him
"I better follow him," Falk said seriously. "Not, that he is arrested because of murdering a policeman. I don’t like a new partner."
But in his eyes it sparkled suspiciously.
