Disclaimer: Paraborg/Viacom owns the whole Star Trek
universe. I only borrowed a little part of it for some fun. No moneymaking, no
offence of copyrights are intended. The story is mine and it is just
fanfiction.
If you are under age, please stay away. If you have a
problem with m/m-sex and relationships, then look elsewhere for your
entertainment. English is not my native language, so please be patient with my
mistakes. T’Lin did a really great job to correct my errors, not to mention all
the suggestions she gave. My greatest gratitude to her. For all remaining
errors, blame me.
Special Thanks to Lady Charena. Originally I
challenged her to do the oddest TOS-couple we could imagine, but then I ended
to write this myself.
Note: The Horta Naraht appears in the books "My
enemy, my ally" and "The Romulan Way" by Diane Duane. The big
Tribble is from the TAS-episode "More Troubles with Tribbles", which
also is the time setting for this, according to the theory that TAS shows the
second five-year-mission.
Naraht stopped with surprise right behind the door to his cabin as he
saw the big "thing " in the middle of his room.
The young Horta slid nearer, scanning the Tribble with all his senses.
He found those furballs fascinating. He wasn't on board [when the Enterprise
had their first encounter with them, but Sulu had told him everything as this
new incident began.
This time the Tribbles didn't reproduce, they just became larger when
they were feed. The golden furball in his room was nearly the same size like
the Horta.
Naraht slid closer and extended his fringes to carefully touch his
visitor. He backed away, surprised a short time later as the Tribble began to
vibrate and to purr.
The Horta extended his mental sphere. 'I'm Naraht and you don't need to
be afraid,’ he "said" mentally to the stranger.
‘Trrrrrr-sssssssttttt" came the answer.
Naraht wasn’t sure whether this should be a name of the Tribble or only
simple mental sound. No one had said
that those furballs posses intelligence, on the other hand, probably due to
their strangeness] nobody had ever tried to make contact with them. Of course,
the humans at first hadn’t considered his mother an intelligent being, either.
Naraht fumbled against the Tribble with his fringes. As he touched his
visitor, he had the strong feeling several mental spheres would call for him.
He let his fringes carefully glide further over the soft fur. Finally the
mental voice concentrated to a chorus ‚Good. Moor,’ he heard in his head.
The Tribble’s vibrations became stronger and seemed to broadcast to him.
He sensed a peculiar swinging in his body. Nothing unpleasant, more the
opposite. Naraht tilted instinctive to his side in order to be able to surround
the furball entirely with his fringes.
‚Nice,’ the Tribble whispered in Naraht's „head“. The Horta had the same
feeling. The comfortable warmth that his companion radiated flew through him.
However there was also a steadily increasing pressure. Each of his molecules
seemed to swing. This felt pleasant, too.
He never had encountered anything like that and he wondered what it all
meant. Then - suddenly - he had an idea.
Before he had left his home-planet, his mother had told him something
about an act the two-legged Humans called sex. A union of body and - sometimes
- soul, with the purpose of procreation, but more than that, with the goal of
giving pleasure to each other.
His mother also had said that this sort of contact was known between the
Hortas - in the old times, when she hadn’t been the only one of her generation.
And that the young generation would learn more about it some day.
Naraht asked himself if all that he was now experiencing had something
to do with this sex. At least he had just combined his mind and some parts of
his body with the Tribble. He had to ask someone about that later. Perhaps the
Captain. Or Mr. Spock.
Dr. McCoy had explained to him that they were a couple, and therefore he
should not constantly compliment Mr. Spock on his attractive pointed ears, for
the Captain could become jealous. Both surely knew something about the
so-called sex of the carbon-beings.
Yet in that moment, he lost his ability to think. The trembling of his
body increased, as did the tingling, and the comfortable warmth.
He pressed the Tribble more closely to himself and sent his feelings
through the mental cosmos to his companion. The Tribble answered by letting his
soft fur glide over the sensitive underside of the Horta, as the vibrating and
purring increased.
“Oh” Naraht “voiced” a surprised sound as the vibrations in his physical
body and his mental cosmos suddenly became overwhelming.
A brief moment later, he tilted back onto his underside and fell into a
satisfied sleep. Beside him, a giant Tribble burst and uncounted little
furballs flew over the cabin.
