„What’s this for a packet here?“ Dirk pointed at the packet in green paper and with a golden bow that lay on the table in their police station.

„A gift,“ Lothar conjectured and stepped more closely.  „Perhaps finally one had said a thanks for our sacrifice  work in the service of menkind.“

„And Santa Claus just throw this through our not available fireplace or what?“ Anna was rather sceptical.

„Perhaps someone forgot is. We had a gigantic assembly here today. You know that the crime rate increases rapidly before holidays. Christmas markets, all the people in the shopping centres and so on.  – a true paradise for thieves,“ Dietmar explained.

„We could open it, perhaps a card is attached,“ Harry proposed.

„It ticks,“ Henning, who had taken the packet into his hands, assessed.  Suddenly he threw it away - frightened.  „Perhaps its a bomb,“ he cried. „We should call the experts.“

„Perhaps someone wants revenge at us,“ Lothar considered. „Dirk, did not flee this guy, who threatened you with revenge, yesterday from Santa Fu.“

„I don’t know. Wouldn’t be that a little clumsy for revenge,“ Anna answered.

„Besides this guy was not master shouter not a bombs expert,“ Dirk supplemented.

„However it really ticks,“ Harry, who had taken the packet carefully in her hands, said..

„I call the colleagues.“ Dietmar already hurried to the radio.

Two hours later.

Rolf Bogner step out of his office, looking searchingly around and finally asking his subordinates: „Has someone of you seen a green packet?  I had bought my wife this pretty, old clock for the kitchen, she wished for. But I laid it down here as my phone rang and I hurried into my bureau.“
